If you live in the city then you should consider parking the car and either taking the bus or biking to work.  A gallon of gas equals about 20 pounds of carbon dioxide. 

Here's a great idea out of Boise Idaho.  Bike lockers are being installed in the downtown area.  City residents can keep their expensive bicycles safe and out of the rain.
