green household tips

Here's a green household tip to keep your stainless steel sink sparkling bright and smelling fresh - courtesy of my 17 year old son. Cut a lemon in half and sprinkle the cut half with plain old salt. Use it to scrub your stainless steel sink, giving the lemon a little squeeze now and then. Refresh the salt when necessary. When you're done, just drop the used lemon in the garbage disposal. Use the other half of the lemon to make yourself a lovely glass of homemade, all-natural lemonade.
