Where Does Your Garbage Really Go?
by Terese Hartjoy @ Thorne's World
That is exactly what MIT researchers are attempting to discover in an effort to help Seattle residents understand the importance of recycling.
Using an electronic tracking device about the size of an iPod shuffle, MIT researchers are tagging about 3,000 pieces of Seattle trash to get people thinking about what they throw away and where it ends up. The public will be able to follow the trash migration at an exhibit that opens at Seattle's Central Library Sept. 18.
Remember folks, keep it green with Simply Green!
