I raised my green babies in the 80s and 90s when it wasn't nearly as popular to be crunchy as it is now. Organic baby foods were hard to find - heck, Gerber had just started reducing the sugars in their little jars. What was a crunchy mom to do? I invested in a baby food grinder - which wasn't easy to find back then! - and carted it with me everywhere. Did it pay off? And how! My oldest green baby made the decision to go veggie at 12, and has never looked back.
Want one of your own? I highly recommend this one, which we use for the roommate's grandbabies when they come visit.
