Waste Un-Aware

by Terese Hartjoy @ Thorne's World

Community Recycling Network for Scotland (CRNS) and Waste Aware Scotland have launched a campaign to boost donations of furniture and common household items to assist low income and in transition from homelessness families. Statistics show a 43% drop in goods donated in the past year.

Ylva Haglund of Waste Aware Scotland says that, "Thousands of reusable items still end up in landfill sites, when there are community projects which could make good use of them." Please consider donating usable items rather than tossing them.

Remember folks, keep it green with Simply Green!
