Simply Green # 10

Sustainably Sexy

by Terese Hartjoy @ Thorne's World

eco friendly textiles lingeree sustainable manufacturing Do you know what's in your knickers?

Watch this sexy YouTube, created by the founder of Eco Boudoir, Jenny White and her sister Verity to help raise awareness for the necessity of cleaning up the fashion industry. You might be surprised, you might even be horrified at the amounts and types of waste produced by the textile companies that have your fashion sense in their hands.

The Eco Boudoir label makes beautiful lingeree and loungewear using environmentally friendly materials and environmentally conscious techniques. The materials include natural silk, bamboo, hemp and vegetable tanned leather and are dyed using only low-impact, water-based dyes.

Shouldn't your undies be green?
