Museum Quality

Well, that's what these items being upcycled by Recycle LACMA, a project of Los Angeles-based artist Robert Fontenot, were until the LA County Museum of Art decided to deaccession them. In Robert's hands a skirt becomes a museum quality child's tent and hand embroidered Turkish linen becomes a stylish and serviceable laundry hamper. I can't wait to see what he makes next!
