Encouraging Renewable Energy

The so-called cap-and-trade bill could do a great deal to expand the base of renewable energy, says the executive director of the Renewable Fuels Association. It includes tax deductions and credits for industry and private citizens, sets renewable energy fuel standards, and increases funding for research and development.
