Green Alternatives to Home Cleaning Products

I recently lost a subscriber because the daily EMAIL was addressing too many electricity -related topics and not enough on recycling and the environment.  As a result of this feedback I will be making a concerted effort to provide more recycling / pollution related topics.

I appreciate all comments.   Don't hesitate to make suggestions regarding topics you would like me to research and write about.  I am always eager to investigate new areas of interest.

I am starting a series on greener alternatives to the cleaning products you likely use around your house.   Note:  On my website I provide some green product suggestions you can buy from Amazon.com:   Green Cleaning Products at Amazon.com

Today's tip is to replace your soap products with vegetable oil based liquid soap found in health food stores.  This soap is biodegradable and recommended over animal fat / petroleum based soaps and detergents.

Do you have a going green tip to share?  Don't be shy.  Send it in to info@goinggreenformychildren.com and let us know if you want your name published.

I am always on the look out for green carpet cleaning products to compliment my site. Those products which are effective, safe and eco-friendly.
