Using Lemon Juice as an Organic Cleaner

Yesterday, home cleaning uses for white vinegar were identified.  Today, uses for lemon juice as an organic home cleaning agent will be covered.

Lemon juice is a natural whitener that can also remove grease and stains.  Stain removal is most effective on aluminum and porcelain.  Here are some other uses for lemon juice:
  • Use it to dissolve hard water deposits and soap scum;
  • Use 25% lemon juice and 75% water to wash dishes by hand;
  • Use diluted lemon juice to clean kitchen cabinets and other wood in the home.
