Slow Cloth, Solar Cooking and Color!

It's been a loong week in Thorne's World and I'm running a bit behind, but I hated to miss a Trash Thursday so here are a few crafty links to get your creative juices flowing. First, a killer how-to on making your own non-toxic dyes right in your own kitchen at Crafting a Green World! This is a must read article for all you painters!  Check out Red Thread Studio's Manifesto on Slow Cloth. Simply wonderful. It's an elegant, well thought out and responsible post for all textile artisans to consider in their fabric and crafing materials choices.  For a practical and green craft, learn how to make a Solar Cooker and optimize both heating (your food) and cooling (your kitchen)!
