Recycle Bank - Rewards for Recycling

Rewarding people for recycling.  What an amazing concept!  I just discovered this company called  Recycle Bank.  It is a recycling company that electronically logs the amount of your curbside recycling and then issues rewards points.  You can register for an account and access how many reward points you have accumulated.  These points can be redeemed at participating reward partners.  Here are some links you might want to check out:

Most of us need to do more recycling and this appears to be a step in the right direction.  If this (or similar) service isn't in your area you might consider mentioning it to your city councillor as an interesting concept.
